Based on the American vintage frames made in the 1920s, which were inherited from the original design team, the frames were made into what EYEVAN considers to be an authentic design today. This model is made without compromising on details, such as the characteristic rounded finish of the end piece and temple joints, and the structure of the bridge, which is stepped by cutting 6mm of acetate instead of using a curved mold, and the same style as in those days is reproduced by hand by skilled craftsman.
This model was inspired by an American vintage front design that appeared in eyewear catalogs in the 1960s.
The temples, with the characteristic design reminiscent of German design, are the design used in Eyevan’s “E-31” model released in the 80’s.
This time, the design is reproduced for the first time in more than 40 years.

Made of lightweight stainless steel, ARMSTRONG in Lagoon Green with Clear lenses is a panto shaped optical frame from the MYKITA DECADES collection. Handcrafted in Berlin.
The design source for the titanium endpiece that matches the small P3 shaped plastic front is a buckle from British military wear in the 40’s. The temples have a polygonal shape at the tips of the temple end, and the edges of the temples are engraved with lines at a pitch of 0.2mm. Inspired by the folk of the 20’s. The brand’s concept of creating new things by incorporating various sources from the past and present into its designs is also expressed in this [419].

The distinctive aesthetic of the models stems from the translation of classic forms into a modern MYKITA construction.
A direct and charming bookish frame with real presence and originality. Thick acetate, unconventional lines and a refined keyhole bridge team up in a style that marries intelligence and sophistication.
The Classics professor experiments with microdosing. Working off an elegant Deco structure (complete with a keyhole bridge), Rue de la Paix’s unexpected lines introduce a whiff of psychedelia for a wavy-gravy spin on traditional forms.
